Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer at the Claire.

Event Description: Come join us for this holiday classic, LIVE, on stage in Lynden! Music Theatre International says, “Rudolph saves Christmas and goes down in history in this family classic! The holiday classic soars off the screen in this musical adaptation of the beloved television special. Filled with holiday hits like “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and “A Holly Jolly Christmas,” Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer™ features all of your favorite characters including Santa and Mrs. Claus, Hermey the Elf, Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster, Clarice, Yukon Cornelius and, of course, Rudolph. It’s an adventure that teaches us that what makes you different can be what makes you special. Because of his shiny nose, Rudolph doesn’t feel like he belongs in Christmastown and sets off to find a place that accepts him. Along his journey, he encounters fellow misfits, only to realize that home is where he has belonged the whole time. When a storm threatens to keep Santa’s sleigh from taking flight, what makes Rudolph different turns out to be what helps him save Christmas!” (Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. www.mtishows.com)

Get out & Explore some of the parks in Whatcom County! It is mide July already- summer is half way over. I just wanted to take some time to highlight a few of the beautiful parks in Whatcom County. We are lucky enough to live in a place with lots of different options to explore!

Blaine Marine Park

272 Marine Dr, Blaine, WA 98230

This park has a great playground! Part of it is even shaped like a pirate ship. It is located on the bay & a short distance to downtown Blaine.

Refreshed Down Town Lynden Pictures

I’m not sure if you have ventured Downtown Lynden yet but I’m loving all the updates! In Lynden, we have been blessed with GORGEOUS hanging baskets that are so full & bright with flowers year after year. This year, downtown Lynden stepped it up and re did a lot of the street corners to have hanging basket trees! We also have new signs with an updated logo.

If you haven’t walked Downtown Lynden recently, I suggest  you do while the weather is still nice! Lots of shops have added more outside dining or even order some take out. Take a stroll down the street and enjoy the flowers, scenery and take a look at the many changes happening on Front St.

Home Buyer Class?

I’m curious how many people would be interested in taking a home buyer class at my office in Lynden? I’ve been debating putting on a class this Fall. It would be a free event & everyone is welcome!

If this is something you would be interested in attending, let me know! Any specific topics you would want covered? Please share! I’ve gained a lot of experience & knowledge over the past 10 years and would love to help guide buyers as much as possible!

Northwest Raspberry Festival

In the mood for some fresh berries & ice cream? Shopping lots of local vendors? Or watching some awesome 3on3 basketball? Make sure to check out one of Lynden’s greatest traditions this weekend! The Razz fest starts today & goes all day on Saturday as well! Front St gets shut down to make room for all the courts, food & car show!

Check out the Chamber Of Commerce Event here for the full details! I hope to see you there!!
